Since its launch back in September 2020,Genshin Impacthas managed to keep a large position of its player base active to this day. Developer miHoYo keeps updating the game every five to six weeks which prevents the game’s content from becoming stale.

One of the features that keeps changing with each update is the infamous Spiral Abyss. The Abyss is considered to be the onlyGenshin Impactend-game feature in the game and players usually struggle with the last two floors.

The two most challenging stages of the Spiral Abyss are always the 11th and 12th floors which usually require maxed-out characters to be used. A recent post on the popularGenshin Impactleaks subreddit has revealed the enemy line-up that will appear on the last two floors for theGenshin ImpactUpdate 2.5Spiral Abyss. These line-ups usually get leaked a couple of days before the official arrival and so far they’ve proven to be true so far.

Overall players seem to be happy with the upcoming Abyss with one exception. A number of complaints in the comment section have one thing in common:the new Rifthound enemiesare one of the worst types of enemies miHoYo has added to the game. Having a melee-heavy team composition makes it even harder, and it should be noted that there are only two ranged weapon types in the game - Bow and Catalyst. The constant jumping around makes it almost impossible for players to land their DPS rotation.

The popularGenshin Impactstat website is named GenshinLab has revealed the most used characters in the Spiral Abyss for the current update. It should be noted that the chart represents the pick rate within the playable roster for each account. For example, 95.1% of players that have Kazuha have used him in the current Spiral Abyss. The most used characters overall are likely Raiden Shogun, Zhongli, and Venti considering that they are themost pulledGenshin Impactcharactersin the game so far, and still have a high overall pick rate.

Since theintroduction of the Inazumaislands inGenshin ImpactVersion 2.0, the Spyral Abyss has been increasingly stronger with each new update. The Abyss floors from update 1.0 to 1.6 had a fairly constant level of difficulty with some small exceptions. Increasing the difficulty ceiling does not seem to be the main problem as many players even prefer it, but making the current content much harder compared to the rest of the game seems unnatural.

Genshin Impactis available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, and a Nintendo Switch version in development.
