Rumors and leaks have become common in the world ofGenshin Impact, and interesting info on Yae Miko has come up numerous times over the last couple of updates. Yae Miko has become a fan-favorite character since her appearances intwoGenshin Impactupdate previews, so many players are obviously excited about her arrival. Many rumors were predicting that she will have a fox-themed kit which is apparently confirmed by a recent credibleGenshin Impactleaker who claims that she will have a tail during her Elemental Burst animation.

Previously a leak revealed a timeline for future content, and it claims that Yae Miko will debut in update 2.5. The same leaker was the first one to accurately predict the arrival of the new region Enkanomiya, so the information is worth taking into consideration. Rumors have also been claiming that Yae Miko could be one of thestrongest DPS characters inGenshin Impact, on par with Ganyu, Ayaka and Hu Tao. When it comes to her weapon type, there is currently no official information or credible leaks. However, the design of the character heavily indicates that her Element will be Electro, which is no surprise since she’s heavily tied to the Inazuma region.

There were multiple rumors over the last couple of days about this unusual region, and after a leak revealed theEnkanomiya map along with its teleport points, fans have additional information about its type of access. A post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed that the region will work similarly to the limited Golden Apple Archipelago region players had the chance to explore in update 1.6.

According to miHoYo’s usual update schedule,Genshin impactVersion 2.5 should arrive around May 15, 2025. Yae Miko is expected to arrive alongside another double banner re-run, which is becoming a pattern since rumors have suggested thatXiao and Ganyu will get their own double re-runin update 2.4.
