While many Xbox fans are looking forward to what Playground Games can accomplish with thenext-genFablegame, others are still plenty excited for the release ofForza Horizon 5later this year. Playground Games has consistently delivered high-quality work when it comes to theForza Horizonfranchise, withForza Horizon 5coming out of E3 as one of the most-impressive games of the entire event. It’s easily one of the most highly-anticipated Xbox games on the horizon, and the developers have continued to reveal new information about what fans can expect from it.
Playground Games has confirmed a number ofForza Horizon 5gameplay featuresthat fans can expect when they get their hands on the game later this year. According to Playground Games,Forza Horizon 5will have convertibles, drag racing, environmental variety, long highways, and more. And while players are out cruising inForza Horizon 5, they can do so in a vehicle that’s completely their own, as the developers have confirmed that the game will have hundreds of new customization options.

AsForza Horizon 5players explore Mexico, there will be plenty of interesting sights to see. This includes animals, which will have an active presence in theForza Horizon 5game. So far, Playground Games has confirmed bighorn sheep, donkeys, flamingoes, donkeys, and wild goats forForza Horizon 5’s animals, but has teased that there will be even more for fans to see in the final game.
Besides animals,Forza Horizon 5players will want to keep their eyes peeled for Barn Finds. In theForza Horizonfranchise, Barn Finds are hidden areas that, if found, net players fancy new cars. Hunting down all the Barn Finds is one of the main activities in theForza Horizongames, and it seems as thoughForza Horizon 5will be no different. However, Playground Games has said that the Barn Finds inForza Horizon 5will be “more detailed” and “location-specific” than in previous entries, so that should be interesting for franchise fans.
Playground Games has also talked Horizon 5’s weather system. Like previous games in the series,Forza Horizon 5will incorporate weather into the gameplay, but it’s taking things a step further.Weather inForza Horizon 5will be localized, meaning different parts of the map will have wildly different weather. One section of the map may be getting ravaged by a sandstorm, whereas another part of the map will have a blizzard. These storms can grow over time, though players won’t see a blizzard storm making its way to a desert-section of the map.
As previously stated,Forza Horizon 5was a standout game at E3 2021, and the more Playground Games reveals about it, the better it sounds. It should definitely be a strong addition to the Xbox Game Pass lineup when it launches later this year.
