Fortniterecently saw a new update that changed up the gameplay quite a bit by adding vehicles for players to drive during matches. Luckily, finding and driving cars inFortniteis easy and seamless following the Joyride update.

Fortniteis no stranger to crazy crossover events that seem to be out of left field. For example,Fortniteis still teasing aTeneteventfollowing theTenettrailer debut that it held back in May. A collaboration with Christopher Nolan may be one of the most random crossover events thatFortnitehas held, but the game has also done plenty of collaboration for high-profile media properties that went over very well with players.
One of those high-profile collaborations happened somewhat early in the game’s life. TheFortnite:Avengers Endgameeventthat allowed players to play as Thanos was one of the early events that put the game on the map. Now, it seems another MarvelFortnitecollab may have leaked online. A prominent leaker on Twitter going by HypeX is claiming that leaked rift on the map will play a certain sound. Running that sound through a spectrograph reveals a humanoid image wearing a very distinct helmet. Many fans are speculating that it’s the villain, Galactus.
Of course, all of this information is still just speculation and is unconfirmed by any official sources. However, it’s hard to deny there are many pieces fitting together, like many users who are claiming to see Marvel comic book panels showing up in their battle passes in-game. Those comic panels clearly match up with images of Thor from published issues of Marvel comics. There’s also the fact thatSquare Enix’sMarvel AvengersandFortniteare having a crossover promotion for players who complete the game’s beta content.
There’s good reason to take these leaks with a grain of salt, however, the evidence that the community has been putting together is fairly convincing to say the least. For now, fans can enjoy the new content that recently came toFortniteas part of the Joyride update. Some players complained about a lack of mobility in the game, and theJoyride update fillsFortnitewith carsfor players to traverse the map faster than ever before.
Fortniteis available now for Android, iOS, Mac, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
