This guide will help players complete a weekly quest that requires themto use Chug Splash, Grenades, or Firefly Jars 100 times. It’s usually a very time-consumingquest that can be quite difficultto get within the time limit, but there’s a method that works and can make this much easier.
How To Quickly Use Throwables 100 Times
This quest can be done with any of these three throwables, Chug Splash, grenades, orfirefly jars; it may seemunexpected, but fireflies are the way to go here. The firefly jar is an item that’s usually thrown at structures or flammable items; the glass jar breaks on impact and it’ll either make the structures catch fire or make the flammable item explode. It can be particularly dangerous to do this near wooden cabins and gas pumps.
Reddit user LoudLudo found out that it’s actually super easy to complete this quest with the firefly jar since it doesn’t work on water; it simply won’t break, and it’ll simply float above the water. The good part is that it’s still the same as if it had been used and therefore counts towards challenge progression.
The trick is to find as many firefly jars as possible and put them in the inventory -getting a weapon for protectionmight also be a good idea. Afterward, the player has to take them near a body of water and throw them all in. Then, they simply have to pick up the firefly jars once again and repeat this process. It may be a little tedious at first, but by following these steps it becomes much easier to complete the quest, especially since there’s a much limited time frame to do so this season.
Although it’s not as fast, players should alwaysactivate the Splash Medic Reality Augmentwhen given the opportunity; this augment increases the chances of the player finding Chug Splash inside every container that they open. This can’t be exploited and there’s no way of telling when the augment will appear, but since Chug Splash are part of the items that need to be used to complete this quest, it’ll certainly help.
