For the best chance of winning a round of Battle Royale inFortniteChapter 6 Season 2, players should look to these landing locations that will provide the best cover, best loot, and of course, the best start to a match to ensure that players are in for a good and long time in the heat of action and won’t be relegated back to the lobby.
There are so many places to land inFortniteChapter 6 Season 2, but every player might have their own preference. Whether it’s a more secluded area to drop by, or an area that can get rather hectic due to its popularity – here are some great spots to land in Chapter 6 Season 2.

1Outlaw Oasis
A Relaxing Resort for Secret Chests and Calmness
Outlaw Oasis acts as a calming paradise for players to drop down to. It’s a location that’s not relatively too big, meaning small teams can cover ground without being overwhelmed and separated. There’s plenty of chests to be found in the multiple buildings, and even better, is a secret vault that can be found within the POI.
With fun easter eggs like the vault and the hot tub that can only hold 3 players at once, Outlaw Oasis is a decent and wholesome place to drop to for those who want something light and casual with plenty of opportunities to loot.
2Crime City
A Grimy City Filled with Looting Spots
Heading to Crime City, players might want to watch their back. This isn’t a friendly location, and due to its central theme with Lawless, it’s going to be a popular spot indeed – which is what makes it so fun. Landing at Crime City changes the color palette to a darker and more grimy atmosphere to fit the adrenaline-fueled mood of this crime-addicted city.
Crime City is a risky place, as players can perch on rooftops and aim through windows to pick off targets outside in the street and in the alleyways. Even inside the grimy spot, the bank itself has a nice amount of loot for those who engage in the heist to provide the best loadout.
3Shiny Shafts
A Mining Colony Filled with Gold and Escape Routes
Shiny Shafts is a tad maze-like in its design, as many of its metallic buildings will hold a few chests and pieces of floor loot, and a few tunnels to explore that players can hide in or get lost in. However, it’s still worth dropping here due to how most players might actively avoid this spot, and those who do land here can be beaten by the design through flanking spots.
Shiny Shafts doesn’t have any NPCs, and its loot isn’t as extensive as other POIs, but there is a secret vault that can be found here to provide even more rewards to players who want to get a step closer to a Victory Royale.
4Shogun’s Solitude
The Secluded Spot Writhe with Escape Routes, NPCs, and Loot
Shogun’s Solitude is a secluded area that exists in the map, where players are going to have a hard time getting to if they don’t land here straight away. There are plenty of chests around, along with ways of escape thanks to the Launch Pads. What’s even better, is the duo of NPCs found here.
Kendo can be hired as a Scout Specialist and sells the Sentinel Pump Shotgun, and The Brat sells a Rift to Go and a Twinfire Auto Shotgun, providing players with an opportunity to spend their wealth of Gold that they have acquired from bank heists on some reliable weapons and a new ally.
5Lonewolf Lair
A Mansion That Holds Tightly Woven Loot
Fletcher Kane’s manor isn’t just a visually stunning spot, as it also holds plenty of loot. Just outside of Lonewolf Lair, players can find Cassidy Quinn who sells a Falcon Eye Sniper, but the real treasure lies in the mansion itself. Inside, each room is filled with floor loot and chests to provide close-quarter and safe engagements behind doors and walls.
For those who conquer Lonewolf Lair, there is even more potential for loot with the vault found in the bottom floor. Accessing said vault might be risky witha Fletcher Kane boss fightand Alpha Guards, butclaiming the Dill Bitsinside for Black Market goodies is a must for the best weapons.
6Magic Mosses
A Secluded Forest with Hidden Loot
Magic Mosses is a fairly secluded spot due to how it’s surrounded by a dense forest, and as such, it makes a nice location to loot up at considering there are only 3 central buildings in Magic Mosses. While the loot isn’t the most expansive, it’s a safe location and made even greater thanks to the secret underground vault.
Magic Mosses is a lovely location in terms of visual identity and loot, but players can head South of the POI to find Joss, an NPC inside theBackwoods Black Marketwho sells other more reliable goodies for Gold and Dill Bits.
7Masked Meadows
A Quiet and Occasionally Hectic Village
Masked Meadows might not hold any NPCs for players to check in on for loot, but it does have a multitude of buildings of different heights so that players cancontrol the POIfrom opposing teams that would dare to come here. Not only that, but Masked Meadows also has the Masked Motorway Bank.
The Masked Motorway Bank is an opportunity for players to grab even more reliable loot, asusing Thermiteto break into the vault will provide gold and rare chests, as well as Alpha Guards in need of elimination. Loot is in abundance in this POI, both on the ground and under it with the secret tunnels.
8Kappa Kappa Factory
A Factory for Pickles and Getaways
Kappa Kappa Factory is found on the very bottom right area of the map, and it’s so secluded from other POIs and even other Landmarks that most players might not think to land here. What makes Kappa Kappa Factory a hidden gem is the fact that it’s secluded, with plenty of loot, and also has an easy way out thanks to vehicles that are usually out front.
Players can loot up at the factory and try and get as much ammo, weapons, and shields as possible before they take a ride through the map and look for more eventful and dangerous areas. Most players wouldn’t think to head here, which is why they should drop here.
