Even thoughFortniteis presented as a family-friendly game, some of the crossover skins have focused on characters from adult-oriented media, like Rick and Morty, various characters fromThe Walking Dead,Kratos fromGod of War, and more.It was leaked quite some time ago thatFortnitewould be crossing over withDead Spacein an effort to promote the upcomingDead Spaceremake. TheDead Spaceremake is scheduled to launch on Friday, January 27, giving sci-fi horror fans the chance to relive the classic game with upgraded graphics and many other improvements. While fans wait for theDead Spaceremake release date to roll around, they can pass the time by playing as Isaac Clarke inFortnite.RELATED:Fortnite’s Shockwave Hammer Is Still BrokenThe Isaac Clarke skin inFortniteis available through the Strange Transmissions Quest Pack, available to purchase for $11.99 in real money as opposed toFortnite’s V-Bucks currency. For their money, players get the Isaac Clarke Outfit, RIG Back Bling, USG Ishimura Back Bling, the Plasma Cutter Pickaxe, the Bench Upgrade Emote, and quests that can be completed to earn 1,500 V-Bucks.
TheDead Spacecrossover inFortniteis certainly showing love for the sci-fi horror game and fans will likely get a kick out of the items on offer. TheUSG Ishimura is the ill-fated shipthat Isaac explores in theDead Spacegame, whereas the Plasma Cutter is Isaac’s most iconic weapon, used to dismember countless necromorph monsters. Players are able to upgrade the Plasma Cutter and Isaac’s other gear at Bench Upgrades, so it’s cool to see that element ofDead Spacerecreated inFortniteas well.
Isaac Clarke is joiningFortnite’s Gaming Legends Series, which has already featured quite the impressive list of game characters. Besides the aforementioned Kratos ofGod of Warfame,Fortnitehas also been home to Master Chief fromHalo, Doom Slayer fromDoom, and most recently,Geralt fromThe Witcher. Like those skins, theDead Spacecontent will only be available to purchase inFortnitefor a limited time, so anyone interested should be sure to grab it while they still can.
Fortniteskins do eventually cycle back into the shop, though it’s anyone’s guess as to when theDead Spacecontent will ever return to the battle royale. Rumor has it thatThe Walking Deadskins are coming back toFortnitesoon, though nothing official has been announced on that front just yet.
