Although the latestFate/Grand Orderevent is ending tonight, players won’t have to wait at all for the next one. After farmingInheritance of Gloryraids, the GUDAGUDA Meiji Restoration Rerun will immediately be taking its place. As one of the last reruns before the 3rd anniversary celebration in several months, this event will be a nice change of pace while it runs from May 8th to May 19th.
GUDAGUDA is a series of events featuring characters from Koha-Ace and Fate/GUDAGUDA Order, fourth-wall breaking parody manga from TYPE-MOON. While the original GUDAGUDA event introduced masters to the Fate versions of Okita Souji, Oda Nobunaga, and their wacky antics, Meiji Restoration debuts even more characters related to the two in a slightly silly story. Veteran players will be familiar with the event, but first-timers will quickly understand how to participate.

Chacha
Chacha, Oda Nobunaga’s niece, temporarily joins players when they begin the event. Like other welfares, completing the story will make Chacha a permanent part of the roster. She is a 4-star berserker with skills that charge her NP gauge, generate critical stars, and debuffs an enemy with increasing defense down over several turns. Chacha also possesses an AOE Buster Noble Phantasm and will find a role on the daily farming teams of most players that can give her a starting NP craft essence. By fully completing the rerun, Chacha can be raised to Level 80 and NP5 but this will be the last time players can obtain her if they couldn’t do so during the original event.
Point System (Shinsengumi/Oda Bakufu)
In the Meiji Restoration Rerun, players will have not one, but twopoint laddersto fully complete. Both ladders will be filled by collecting Shinsengumi or Oda Bakufu points that drop from enemies on quests for that specific faction. Rewards for hitting certain breakpoints include QP, Summon Tickets, Crystallized Lores. Note that the 4 “Gold Leaf Sun Fan” and 4 “Piece of Ranjatai” needed to ascend Chacha and buy her NP copies are prizes from the Shinsengumi and Oda Bakufu ladders respectively. However, playing through the event normally will allow players to complete the event using natural AP or just a few apples.
“Opposing Armies” Battles
During the first few days of the event, there will be 3 “Opposing Armies” battles during certain points in the story. Each battle pits the Shinsengumi against the Oda Bakufu and the winning faction will be decided by the number of points players have gathered on each side. The victorious faction will also gift some bonus points for their ladder to all players that participated during the battle. Because of this, players with minimal time available are advised to complete at least one quest during each period to receive credit and the bonus points.
Event Shop and Currencies
As per usual duringpastFGOevents, the shop will exchange items for event currency: Koban, Gold Dust, and Eiraku Coins. Fully clearing out the shop will require 3000 Koban, 2850 Gold Dust, and 2800 Eiraku Coins. All of the event currency can be farmed by participating in the “Opposing Armies” battles and a series of “Clean-Up” free quests once the rounds are over.
Event Craft Essences
There will be five craft essences that can be obtained through the event orgachathat help farming.
Gacha CEs
Event Bonus Servants
New and returning GUDAGUDA servants as well as those appearing in the story will receive a damage bonus during quests.

80-Percent Damage Increase:EMIYA, Mysterious Heroine X, Mysterious Heroine X (Alter), Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison

Best Places to Farm
Players are recommended to farm the 40 AP quests during the “Opposing Armies” battles. Since all types of event currency will drop regardless of the side chosen, it’s up to the player’s choice based on the ascension materials that can also drop. The chart below refers to the highest 40 AP quests so players can target what items they need or want to stock up on. Note that 30 AP and lower quests will only drop silver ascension materials.
If players still need to finish both ladders, there is also a Clean-Up battle that drops high amounts of Shinsengumi and Oda Bafuku points.

Final Main Quests and Challenge Quest
Once all the “Opposing Armies” battles are finished, players can finish the Meiji Restoration story to acquire a Holy Grail and Chacha or a Crystallized Lore if they played through the original event last year. Afterwards, a special challenge quest is available to anyone that has completed Part 1 ofFate/Grand Order’smain story and is easily completed with the damage bonus from the “Wolves of Mibu” event CE.
