Five Nights at Freddy’sfans got their first look at the new game,Security Breach, during the recentPlaystation 5 showcase. Viewers got an interesting tease at environments and characters, all of which suggest this new game is a sequel toHelp Wanted. A voice thatappears to be Vannyfrom the aforementioned game speaks to Gregory, a character from the books. Gregory sounds terrified as if actively hiding from the demented bunny.

While it primarily acts as a tease of things to come, there are several interesting clues within the trailer. These subtleties hint at potential plot points and gameplay mechanics not directly mentioned.
10The Early Reveal
Between the big reveal at the end of the trailer and later discussions across social media, mostFive Nights at Freddy’sfans know thatVanny the rabbitis the antagonist. What many missed, however, is that there was one big tease before the final reveal.
Near the beginning, as the camera pans through the factory or warehouse environment, a shadow appears from the corridor to the right. It’s a figure with two long, pointy bits sprouting from it, suggesting a rabbit-like character. If not Vanny, then does it mark the return of Glitchtrap?

9There May Be A Factory Environment
At the beginning of the trailer, the camera’s view ventures through a warehouse or factory environment. This is a stark contrast to the rest of the trailer which shows a bright and colorful megaplex. Is it an off-site warehouse? Is it a boiler room? Or is it something completely new?
With bright, neon lights illuminating the path, the best assumption is that this space exists within the megaplex building itself. The logo on the primary silo even says so. But why would a megaplex need this? Are the owners capable of building more animatronics on-site?

8The Charging Symbol On The Forklift Suggests Unique Gameplay Mechanic
Near the end of the factory or warehouse setting, a forklift with Freddy Fazbear’s badging appears. On its own, it doesn’t mean much. Upon closer inspection, however, there seems to be a lightning bolt image.
This image often refers to high voltage or electricity. It’s also used as a symbol for charging. If the forklift requires a charge, perhaps it is needed to escape the wayward animatronics.Driving a vehiclewould be a first for the series, which leaves room for almost unlimited expectations and possibilities.

7A New Threat Follows
In the kitchen scene, it’s hard to miss this new animatronic creeping above. Zoom in to the character and see a downright creepy half-moon face with a wide smile. The character also wears a pointy wizard hat. It’s the only visible moving object in the trailer, and it’s following the camera.

Helped Wantedshows Vanny being the reluctant follower of Glitchtrap, doing his bidding. The newly nicknamedMoon Animatronicmay fulfill a similar role, carrying out Vanny’s orders and following the player when she can’t.
6A Spiral Staircase For Multiple Floors?
While it’s not the only staircase seen in the trailer, the appearance of the spiral staircase above the laser tag arena proves that more than one floor is explorable. If this is anopen-world game, similar toHelp Wanted, this may suggest a fully explorable environment.
If all or most of the megaplex becomes available from the start, it makes the game all the more creepier. As the player ventures through the facility completing objectives, Vanny could literally be behind any corner on any floor.

5A Host Of New Animatronic Characters
Classic characters return with a new glamrock look, such as Glamrock Freddy and Glamrock Chica. Not only does the game include re-skins of favorite characters, completely new faces show up in the trailer.
As the camera pans over the laser tag arena, a cardboard cutout hangs high with Montgomery Gator holding a laser gun. While not specifically in the trailer, Roxanne Wolf appears in much of the promotional materials. All of them come with menacing sharp teeth and claws, the perfect addition tokid-friendlyanimatronics, right?

4Laser Tag Arena Suggests An Eerie Chase Experience
One of themost elaborate environmentsshown in the trailer is the laser tag arena. It’s a large, maze-like room with raised platforms, ramps, and what seems to be a VIP room. On its own, it looks like one of the greatest laser tag attractions in history.
SeasonedFive Nights at Freddy’sfans know that although the room looks fun, something very bad is bound to happen in it. It’s the perfect set up for both a colorful and horrifying chase experience, especially if the neon lights go out.

3A Late 80s Mall Aesthetic
The strongest aspect of the game shown within the trailer is its setting. The faux palm trees, neon lights, glamrock characters, and metallic everything give off a strong 80s vibe. Altogether, the trailer presents environments unlike anything seen in the franchise. It’s theperfect sceneryfor iconic moments and honestly, it’s just really nice to look at it.
As stunning as these environments are, if used well, they have the capability of beingtrue hellscapes. Consider the entry way of the megaplex with the palm trees, stairwells, and a statue of Freddy. It’s vibrant, amazing, and straight out of every kid’s fantasies. Now imagine that same environment with the power cut off.

2Glamrock Chica
Glamrock Chica appeared in the trailer, but it’s only a quick cameo. In the scene showing the golden statue of Freddy, two art panels on the right show off some of the glamrock characters, one of them being Chica. While it’s only art, she appears to be a punky, 80s diva ready to party. This is quite an evolution from the bird wholikes to eat.
So far, this is the best official look at Glamrock Chica fans have. It begs the question of how often players might see her in the game, or if there’s something more going on with thewacky animatronicthis time around.

1An Animatronic Helping The Protagonist?
One of the last statements heard in the trailer is an ominous message from what sounds like Freddy. “Gregory, be still. I think she’s found us.” This is a huge statement as it suggests the first time in the series an animatronic helps someone. Does this mean little Gregory has help from the Glamrocks? If so, why are the other animatronics also afraid of Vanny?
This devious rabbit may be the biggest threat yet in the series. After whatGlitchtrapdid to her inHelp Wanted, it’s not hard to believe that by the events of this game, she’s even more sinister.
