After years of anticipation, From Software’sElden Ringhas finally been released, and it appears to be taking the gaming world by storm. One aspect that has been widely praised by fans is the game’s surprisingly robust character creator, which allows gamers to customize their player character before adding all the armor items needed to make a given build survivable. OneElden Ringplayer decided to take advantage of the character creator by creating aTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlescharacter.

TheTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesfranchisewas an unexpected success with surprising staying power and is now expecting both a Seth Rogen movie reboot and a new game in the near future. With this in mind, it may not be a surprise that players might want to play as one of the Ninja Turtles in a fantasy action game. However, the Ninja Turtles have such bizarre but distinct designs that fans may have trouble believing theElden Ringcharacter creator could make them.

Elden Ring’s Hilarious Ninja Turtle Character in Action

Redditor CountingCats shared a short, one-minute-long video showcasing their recreation of aTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlescharacter. The character features bright green skin, a round face, what seem to be mask-shaped red markings over the eyes, and a large turtle shell worn on the back. CountingCats recorded the character running around, fighting severalElden Ringenemies - including a dragon - and even interacting with one of the game’s tortoises. All the while the iconic opening theme to the originalTeenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesTV show plays in the background.

According to theclassicTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesdesigns, the turtles should have different mask colors and distinct weapons. However, this character has a red mask like Raphael and a katana like Leonardo, making it unclear which turtle it is supposed to be. The fan-created design also features a loose wrap worn around the character’s hips, which no version of theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtleshave sported. It’s likely a compromise so that theElden Ringcharacter creator would interpret the character as properly dressed.

This isn’t the first timeElden Ringfans have tried recreating charactersfrom other franchises, but it may be one of the most extreme designs they managed to capture. Fans may find that watching this recreated Ninja Turtle hurtle through the air, backstab foes, and chug potions feels strangely fitting. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may have outlandish designs, but they look surprisingly natural in the twisted fantasy world ofElden Ring.

Elden Ringis available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
