Elden Ring’sShadow of the ErdtreeDLC is a boon for mages who love casting incantations, as the expansion introduces brand-new incantation types, includingMessmer, Miquellian, and Spiral incantations. The Spiral incantations are a group of four spells:Golden Arcs,Giant Golden Arc, Watchful Spirit, and Spira.
While theGolden Arcs,Giant Golden Arc, andWatchful Spiritincantations can be found relatively earlier in the game, the Spira incantation can only beacquired after a major event in the storyline. Here are all the steps you’ll need to take to acquire the Spira incantation inShadow of the Erdtree.
Where To Find Spira Incantation In Shadow Of The Erdtree
To obtain the Spira incantation, you must first dispel the shadow shrouding theTower of Shadow (Enir-Ilim) by burning the Sealing Tree. This event happens towards the late game.
Burning the Sealing Treegrants you access to Enir-Ilim, allowing you to progress the story. The game will also teleport you to the tower next to theEnir-Ilim: Outer Wall Site of Grace.
To begin your hunt for the Spira incantation,begin by first discovering the First Rise Site of Grace, located in the eastern region of the tower.
Now, from the First Rise Site of Grace, head southwest and over a set of stairs and to a large open area with Inquisitor enemies and a large fountain.
From here, turn southeast, and go up another set of stairs, and past the two Inquisitor enemies.
Follow the natural curvature of the stairs until you reach another platform with a large tree to its east.
Approach the eastern end of the platform and proceed to jump onto the tree branch. Now, follow the tree branch leading you to another secluded platform where you can find an Inquisitor praying before a statue.
Eliminate the Inquisitor and collect the Spira incantation from the altar before the statue.
Spira Incantation Overview & Requirement
Superior sorcery of the tower priests, wielded as an incantation of the spiral. Wrap one’s arms together and hold them up to the heavens to summon a spiral of light that erupts at the enemy’s feet. Column of light persists for as long as the button is pressed. The spiral is a normalized Crucible current that, one day, will form a column that stretches to the gods.

The Spira incantation is one of the four available Spiral-type incantations in Shadow of the Erdtree. Casting the Spira incantation causes spiraling lights to emerge from under the enemy’s feet,dealing holy damage.
Equipping the Spiral incantation requirestwo spell slots, and casting the spell consumes 10FP.
Casting the Spira incantation while equipping theSpiraltree Sealincreases the potency of the spell.
