AnElden Ringplayer put in a lot of effort to create Tyrion Lannister fromGame of Thrones. While FromSoftware’s player creation systems have never been quite as obsessed with the minutia as some other character creators out there, they still provide more than enough flexibility to allowElden Ring’s community to prove, time and again, that no character creator’s limitations are a match for a little patience and creativity.

Tyrion Lannister, played by Peter Dinklage in the HBO adaptation ofGeorge R.R. Martin’sA Song of Ice and Firebook series, is the bookworm son of a ruthless patriarch named Tywin. Dinklage’s version of Tyrion looks a bit different from the version Martin described in the books. In the books, the scar across his face stretches from the bottom left of his forehead down to the bottom right of his jaw, and, perhaps more prominently, he has no nose.

Reddit user andElden Ringfan ChrissyTheCreative chose to model their player character after the Peter Dinklage version. ChrissyTheCreative managed to create maybe the most spot-on version of Tyrion possible withthe character creation to FromSoftware has supplied. The uncanny quality of the version made inElden Ringcan be most noticed in the eyes and nose, both of which capture Dinklage’s own features with eerie accuracy. The scar across the right cheek suits the character well. The facial hair color doesn’t quite match Dinklage’s own darker beard in the show but is more in line with the book’s version as the entire Lannister clan has golden blond hair.

According to ChrissyTheCreative, theirElden Ringversion of Tyrion Lannister took two hours to create, and it’s easy to see why. Nailing down the details described above takes time and a whole lot of patience. The only detail ChrissyTheCreative’s version didn’t get right is Tyrion’s height, but that’s through no fault of their own.Elden Ring’s character creatoronly allows the player to select Body Types that affect how thin or stout the character can be. Height is not an adjustable option.

This isn’t the first time someone has made Tyrion inElden Ring, and certainly won’t be the last. After all,George R.R. Martin famously providedElden Ring’s backstoryfor FromSoftware. His contributions can be felt throughout, especially in the inter-house dramas between the various factions and families inElden Ring, along with the often confusingly similar names of the characters. It only makes sense that fans would want to add Tyrion intoElden Ring. If he could succeed in Westeros, he might even be able to make a name for himself in The Lands Between.

Elden Ringis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
