It seems that gamers could be getting a good deal of information on upcoming sci-fi horror titles in the next few weeks. Now, EA may be gearing up to unveil some more information on its upcomingDead Space Remake, which will act as somewhat of a soft reboot for the acclaimed franchise as EA looks to completely overhaul the beginning of engineer Isaac Clarke’s story.TheDead Space Remakewas announced at EA Play Live 2021, and while it showed off some very early gameplay footage later on that year, fans were informed that they would have to wait until 2022 for a better look at the game. Since 2022 began, those anticipating the game have been informed that they’ll be waiting until 2023 to get it, with little info being shared of theDead Space Remake. This will take place during an event with a presentation which will be followed by developer questions. Hopefully, this will be another chance to see how much theremake improves on the originalDead Space. Already, fans have seen the major visual updates that will be coming to the remake, but there are other changes as well.

For example, somecut content from the originalDead Spacewill reportedly be making its way to the remake as well. Whatever EA has planned for this new presentation, as long as it contains a fresh look at Motive’s work on theDead Space Remake, it is sure to excite a lot of fans. Considering it has been almost ten years sinceDead Spacereceived an entry in its third game, many are eagerly anticipating a return to the unique horror franchise.

With a release date set for January 2023, a September presentation for theDead Space Remakegives EA and Motive plenty of time to build hype around the game in the months leading up to its release. As well as the newDead Space,EA also has plenty of other single-player titlesin the works, includingStar Wars Jedi: Survivorand a plannedBlack Panthergame. According to a recent investor meeting, this is all part of EA’s new focus on single-player games.
