Dying Light 2 Mission List

Main Story

Dying Light 2’s main story consists of 22 main story missions. Each mission comes with its rewards and unlocks to help the player progress the story and survive thedangers of Villedor to stay human.

Pilgrim’s Path

This is the first mission players will complete when starting the game, learning how to control Aiden. It will run players through the basics ofDying Light 2in atutorial fashiongoing over movement, skills, controls, and combat. This mission will reward 1000 Combat Points and 1000 Parkour Points.

Getting Stronger

Getting Strongertriggers just after the player enters the Bazaar; the survivors of Villedor are not happy to see Aiden, especially since he’s on the verge of turning into an undead flesh-eater. In this mission, players will be introduced to Hakan, and get a lay of the land and how things work in Villedor. This mission rewards 2000 Combat Points, 2000 Parkour Points, 10 chamomile, and 5 honey.

Markers of Plague

This mission involves finding a biomarker for Aiden, which leads the player to explore a hospital on Hakan’s advice. The player will also learn about inhibitors to increase their stamina. After completing this mission, the player will be rewarded with 250 Combat Points, 2000 Parkour Points, Binoculars, the Billhook weapon, Throwing Knife blueprint, five scraps, and rags.

The Only Way Out

In this mission, players will go on another task for Hakan after returning to the Bazaar. This will send players into the tunnels that are littered with infected; in addition, players will now have to get used to monitoring their infection levels which adds pressure to complete tasks quickly.

This mission also introduces Aitor to the player and rewards them with 250 Combat Points, 1500 Parkour Points, an immunity booster blueprint, two chamomile, and Cordyceps.

Unruly Brother

Sophie asks Aiden to find her brother, who has gotten lost in a Dark Zone in the city. This mission introduces players to Nightmare Quests, which can only be done at night when the city is at its most dangerous. On top of Zombies, the location where the player must find Sophie’s brother is controlled by the Peacekeepers. The rewards for this mission are 1000 Combat Points and Parkour Points, the Molotov recipe, andthe Scrapper Hammer weapon.

The Arrival

In this quest, the player will have to deal with an escalating situation between the survivors of the Bazaar and Jack and his band of thugs that threaten the enclave. This will result in an attack and force Aiden to act and save the people of the Bazaar. This quest will reward 1500 Combat Points, 250 Parkour Points, and the Decoy blueprint.

The Raid

In this mission, players will set out to rescue Carl and Jack from a bandit camp. Players can start this mission after meeting up with Sophie at the water tower. This mission will have players clear the bandit camp, explore the Tango Motel, and finally face off against two bandit bosses.

The rewards for this mission are 1500 Combat Points, 250 Parkour Points, an Inferno mod blueprint, 3 Rezin, 1 oxidizer, and an optional weapon, “Hermans Bludgeon.”

Water Tower

In this mission, the player will be faced with another perilous situation of disarming bombs that are going to destroy the water tower. After, players will investigate and learn about the culprits, and a boss fight will follow. The rewards for this mission are 250 Combat XP, 1500 Parkour XP, a Rare Loose Screw, and Remote C4.

Revolution

In this mission, players will take it to the peacekeepers by attacking their power source, the windmill. However, things never go as planned, and chaos follows. So, taking a page from Joey and Jack, Aiden and the Bazaarians decide to blow up the windmill using the explosives. The rewards for this mission are 3000 Combat XP, 1000 Parkour XP, andthe Gunhammer weapon.

Into The Dark!

Into the Dark is one of your final main scenario quests in Old Villedor. Players will get this quest instead of the Revolution Survivor questif you gave the Old Villedor Water Tower to the Peacekeepers.Things hit the fan as players have to juggle the Peacekeeper threat, an infected attack, and saving or losing an ally. The rewards for this mission are 3000 Combat XP, 1000 Parkour XP, and the Bad Gal.

Let’s, Waltz!

In this Main Quest, Aiden will go to the Dynamo Car Factory, hoping to find Waltz there and information about MIa. The player must power the facility, search for Waltz and investigate further about a new mysterious woman who comes to Aiden’s rescue. The rewards for this mission are 3000 Combat XP, 1000 Parkour XP, Arrows Blueprint, x5 Scraps, 20 Arrows, Feathers, and aRare Pipe Bow.

A Place to Call Home

Players will explore a new location in this mission, the ‘Central Loop,” and receive a new quest item,Dying Light 2’s paraglider. Additionally, this mission will have players restore power to a substation by reactivating multiple generators in the area while working with Lawan. The rewards for this mission are 2000 combat XP, 2000 Parkour XP, Rare Walking Stick, Master of Onion Trinket Blueprint, 1 Military Medkit, and 5 Shock Arrows.

Orders

Players will work with unsavory allies and attempt to find LT. Rowe, as Aiden tries to obtain more information about the DRE database and where to access it. While finding Rowe is relatively easy, conversing with him is a different story. The rewards for this mission are 3750 combat XP points, 1250 Parkour XP points, and a Rare Loose Screw.

Observatory

This mission starts the race to the GRE database, the first lead being the Observatory that ends up being a dead end. Aiden will reach out to Major Jack Matt, who will request to meet in person. After this, Aiden will end up surrounded by a horde of infected with nowhere to run. The rewards for this mission are 1250 Combat XP and 3750 Parkour XP.

Welcome on Board

In this mission, the player will have to make a choice about whom to ally with between Major Jack and Juan; this will get Aiden further to the goal of accessing the GRE database but not without some trouble along the way. Once a choice is made, players will have to utilize all the skills they’ve gathered until now to go on a fishing expedition for more information on where to turn next. Rewards for this mission are a UV Flashlight, 1250 Combat XP, 3750 Parkour XP, and a Rare Glaive.

The Lost Light

This mission will only trigger if the player decides to join Major Jack after Juan gives Aiden an ultimatum. After that, players will take on a mission for Major Jack to find a missing squad of Peacekeepers. Along the way, a demolisher will attack, and a boss fight will follow.

Cathedral

In this mission, Aiden will team back up with Juan to infiltrate the cathedral and spy on Major Jack. To do this, players must find a “Tech Guy” to build the listening device which will need special parts taken from the cathedral by shutting down several generators and cutting the power. The rewards for this quest are 3750 Combat XP, 1250 Parkour XP, a Rare Blade Axe, and a Military Medkit.

Broadcast

This mission is another instance where the player must make a choice on who to ally with. Aiden must take over the tallest location in the city and install the radio broadcaster and decide which faction gets control of it. Again, there is an incentive to give control to Major Jack Matt and, in turn, receive help to find Mia. The rewards for this mission are 3000 Combat XP, 3000 Parkour XP, Artifact Hi-Tech Axe, 750 Old Money,the Grappling Hook, and a Military Medkit.

The Shoe

In this mission, players will learn more about Lawan’s history. After reaching the top of the broadcast tower, she will appear, checking on Aidens wellbeing. Both Aiden and Lawan will descend the tower, and the player will have to enter an old apartment building to fetch a new pair of shoes for Lawan. This will provide a deeper look into the connection between Lawan and Hakan. The rewards for this mission are 1500 Combat XP and 4500 Parkour XP.

Nightrunners

This quest only triggers if Frank is granted control over the broadcast tower. The player will learn about a surviving GRE doctor who may have information about how to access the Database. Frank wants Aiden to hack the Renegade frequency, so he can listen in on their communications.

Dying light 2

This mission loses the opportunity to receive help from Major Jack or Juan. The rewards for this mission are 3000 Combat XP and 3000 Parkour XP.

Veronika

In this mission, Aiden gets close to the GRE database with the help of a surviving doctor named Veronika, but it’s a race against time to get to her as Waltz also knows her location. The player must venture back to old Viledor, fight off renegades, and restore power to Veronika’s hideout to access the Database. The rewards for this mission are 3500 Combat XP, 3500 Parkour XP, 2000 coins, Renegade Mask trinket, and a Military Medkit.

The Breakthrough

Aiden is rescued from his fate by Lawan; unfortunately, Aiden’s body is slowly turning every second. Lawan explains what happened at the hideout and the information about what the GRE did to Aiden. At this time, Frank has gone to meet the Renegades to negotiate after a vicious attack. The player is faced with a life or death decision to save lives or lose everything. The rewards for this mission are 1000 Combat XP and 2000 Parkour XP.

Now or Never

In this mission, players will deal with the Colonel. Aiden ends up in an infested-filled compound and must fight his way out and chase down the leader of the renegades. Players are again faced withpath-altering choicesthat will dictate the outcome asDying Light 2’s story comes to a head. The rewards for this mission are 4000 Combat XP, 4000 Parkour XP, Artifact Shoelace Machete, 1000 Old War Money, and 2 Medkits.

Dying Light 2’s story comes to a close. Players take Aiden down the final road as players confront Waltz and finally understand what happened to Mia. Several different ending options could be triggered depending on the choices made in the previous quests before this one. The rewards for this mission are 5500 Combat XP, 5500 Parkour XP, Artifact Heavy Duty, and an E3 2019 Biomarker trinket.
