According to Nintendo of America’s latest trailer, the official release date forDisney Illusion Islandhas been set, and it will be coming out on July 10, 2025. Some gameplay was also shown in the video detailing some mechanics and showing off some cool abilities and levels that will be present in the game, adding more hype for the release. At the end of the video, it was also stated that pre-orders will officially begin today, Jul 28, 2025.
With multiplayer being a heavy focus of the Switch’s game library, adding a Disney-themed one thatplays similarly toRayman Legendscould help bring younger gamers into the fold because of its familiarity and accessibility. The hand-drawn graphics also add a lot of charm since it is very reminiscent of the older cartoon look.
