As fans have been diving into the newly updatedDestiny 2: Beyond Light, many top players have quickly begun scouring the expansion for tricks to get the most out of their experience. A lot of this experimentation has uncovered a number ofexploits new toDestiny 2, as well as a newly-discovered glitch that can be used to cheese a strike boss.
One player took to Reddit after finding an exploit in the Europa strike, The Glassway, including video evidence of the glitch that some commenters have confirmed to work. This will likely become highly valuable to players asDestiny 2begins including the new strike into the Grandmaster Nightfall rotation.

The exploit can be found in the final area of The Glassway where players are tasked with fighting the strike’s final boss: Belmon, Transcendent Mind. While the final encounter normally requires players to fight off hordes of enemies while contending with Belmon, the exploit can effectively take one player out of danger. This can allow that player to act as an anchor point for the rest of the fireteam, a permanent point for teammates to respawn when attempting a harder version of thenewBeyond Lightactivity.
In order to find this glitched area, players need to run to one corner of the final arena in The Glassway and jump over a section of level geometry. Once inside, players can squeeze out of the arena and into a side area that keeps them out of the danger, but still technically inside the area enough to not cause a wipe. However, players may want to take advantage of this exploit as soon as possible, since Bungie has been quick toplugDestiny 2exploitsfound afterBeyond Lightlaunched.
It’s likely this hole in the wall will be filled by the time The Glassway makes its way into the Grandmaster Nightfall rotation, but practicing how to slip through the space now may be a useful skill. With players given less time than normal to prepare forBeyond Light’s new raid, Deep Stone Crypt, any edge that top players can get may be worth the effort. However, it’s likely that this trend of discovering new glitches and exploits will continue through the raid as well, so players are likely to start pushing against the limits of the new update.
