Bungie historically offered deep discounts on theDestinyfranchise during the holiday season. The Sony subsidiary has even more reasons to do so this time around, as the upcoming Black Friday falls on November 24, just four days ahead of the planned start ofDestiny 2Season 23, called The Season of the Wish.
As a result, a variety of the game’s existing DLCs have now been treated to some rather substantial discounts. AllDestiny 2players should be notified about this early Black Friday 2023 sale the next time they log into the game during the promotional period. As for the offers at hand, the deepest discounts have been reserved for the Armory Collection and Legacy Collection (2023) packs, with both of those currently being available at 67% off. Since the Legacy Collection bundle includes the critically acclaimed Beyond Light and The Witch Queen expansions, it’s widely considered as one ofthe best DLCs forDestiny 2newcomers.
The game’s sixth major expansion, Lightfall, received a 60% discount as part of Bungie’s latest sale, as well. A number of recent player reports indicated that thebundle containing bothDestiny 2: Lightfalland the game’s Annual PassUpgrade has also been treated to a 60% discount over the weekend. However, that particular offer does not appear to be live any longer as of Monday, November 20.

Bungie’s early Black Friday 2023 sale also includes a number of expansions for the originalDestinyfrom 2014. Specifically, Level 40 character class packs are currently available at $9.89, or 67% off. The same discount has also been applied to the Rise of Iron and The Taken King expansions, which are now on sale at $9.89 and $6.59, respectively. Finally,Destiny: The Collection—which includes all four of the game’s expansions—is now also available at 67% off, which comes out to just $19.79. Unlike theDestiny 2deals, theirDestinycounterparts only appear to be available on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The newly launched sale is planned to run for over a week, with Bungie revealing its offers will remain live until the end of Tuesday, November 28. Apart from the platform-exclusive discounts on the originalDestinyand its expansions, owners of Microsoft’s recent gaming consoles can also currently take advantage ofover 1000 Black Friday 2023 Xbox game dealswhich went live on November 18.
