Dave the Diveris a quest-filled adventure game currently in Early Access. While the game is pretty short at the moment, every minute ofDave the Diver’s play lengthis filled with interesting stuff to do.
Dave will need to collect loads of fish, materials, and other undersea items in order to complete all the quests, upgrade his weapons, and still have some fish to serve at the restaurant at night. One of the many items players will want to get are sea urchins, but there’s a big problem; Dave cannot pick them up without taking damage.

Why Players of Dave the Diver Want Sea Urchins
Just like in real life, these underwater critters are a delicacy in Bancho’sRestaurant in the game. Players can charge a pretty penny for them as soon as they are able to harvest them. Thankfully, they are all over the place between 10-100 meters down, so players can nab a lot of them. Or, they could if players had the right gloves for the job.
Destroy the Entryway in Dave the Diver
The quest chain that gets players the gloves is called Destroy the Entryway. After saving the princess of the Sea People, players will first need to heal her by collecting coral and taking them to Bancho to cook. Agood tip forDave the Diverplayers is that they will also need to max out their diving suit at this point in order to be able to dive deep enough to swim into the entryway after it is destroyed.
Next, players will want to complete the escort quest with the Sea People, helping Ramo to swim down back to her home. Dave will find that the way back to the Sea People’s City along the Access Road is blocked, but there are some rocks above that could help to clear the way. Dave must then ask Dr. Bacon for help. He will offer to help get Dave some gloves that will be stronger and grippier to help him pull the nail out of the rocks and knock them down into the blocked entryway.
Return to the boat and wait overnight in thisindie gamefor the gloves; now players have the gloves needed to pick up sea urchins and complete their quest.
Return to theSea People’sPrincess Ramo in the morning. Swim up to the rock pile with the nail sticking out of it. Grab the nail with spacebar, then follow the quick time event sequence to remove the nail and knock the rocks down onto the entryway.
