Chrono Cross: Skelly Parts Locations
TheHeavy Skullis the first Skelly part that players can obtain, and it is inFossil Valley (Another World). More specifically,classic JRPGfans should make their way to the top of Fossil Valley to reach a screen with a dragon skeleton. After lying to the guards on this screen, players should approach the dragon’s skull to receive this Skelly bone inChrono Cross.

The next bone that a player can encounter depends on how they opt to approach Viper Manor. For thoseChronofansthat sneak into Viper Manor throughShadow Forest (Another World), theAngry Scapulais found in that area. To collect it, players should navigate to the screen where the sleeping monster blocks the way forward, enter the cave under the nearby waterfall, and read the note that is sitting on the ground next to the chest that contains the Aroma Pouch.
If a player instead went straight through Viper Manor’s front gate, they can pick up thePelvic Boneprior to the Angry Scapula. That Skelly part is found inGuldove (Another World), and fans can claim it by initiating a trade with the NPC that is standing in front of Doc’s hut, next to the dock, and then canceling that trade. Notably, players in this category should plan to visit Shadow Forest for the Scapula when they are able to leaveGuldove inChrono Cross.
Regardless of how Volcano Manor was entered, players should plan to take theirChrono Crosscharactersto thebar in Guldove (Another World)before they leave the island. There is a dwarf inside this establishment, and speaking with him several times will yield theGreen Tinkler, a key item that is used to access the next Skelly bone. Speaking with the NPC that is sitting in the chair in this house will cause Skelly to appear, and fans should leave the residence when the dialogue concludes. Players should then simply enter the building again and speak with Skelly to recruit him as aparty member inChrono Cross.
