Go to Temple Town Ruins
The first step toward finding the Chief Bloodfiend is traveling to theTemple Town Ruins, a location that is accessible as soon as players reach Scadu Altus. For the uninitiated, the journey to the ruins begins with a ride through a swamp, which is accessed via a tunnel to the northeast of Scadu Altus’s Moorth Ruins, and thisguide to reaching the Temple Town Ruins in Shadow of the Erdtreeshould simplify the process.
Go to Rivermouth Cave
After reaching the Temple Town Ruins, players should head southward until they reach the edge of a cliff. A series of platforms extend from the side of the cliff, and fans should use them to descend into the Ellac River.
Once a player reaches the river, they should travel in a southwesterly direction, staying close to the cliff wall that they have just descended. Fans that travel in that direction will soon discover that there is a cave entrance in the cliff wall, and they should activate the Site of Grace that is beyond it.

With theRivermouth Cave Site of Graceactivated, players should descend into the cave until they reach a chamber into which a group of wolves fall. There is a rock ramp that fans should scale in this room, and they should jump on the corpse that they encounter upon reaching the top. This action will cause the floor beneath the corpse to crumble, and players should follow the blood trail after recovering from the fall.
A large, blood-filled chamber awaits players at the end of the blood trail, and there is a corridor at its southeast corner. That corridor leads directly to a mist door, and fans should traverse the mist to engage the Chief Bloodfiend in combat.
