Summary
Call of Duty: Warzoneteased the return of the powerful Specialist Bonus perk while also teasing the return of a popular map. Raven Software has made it clear thatCall of Duty: Warzonewill see plenty of exciting additions in 2024.
Raven previously announced that the two fan-favorite maps ofFortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island would return toWarzonein 2024. Fortune’s Keep is planned to be added in early 2024, while Rebirth Island is slated for a later release. Both maps are smaller than the typical, mainlineWarzonemaps and feature reduced player counts. Raven has yet to confirm a release date for Fortune’s Keep, but “early 2024” seems to suggest that it should be added within the next couple of months. Alongside these future additions, Raven unveiled another returning feature.

Raven posted an image to its Twitter account that shows a new perk package lying on the ground in the returning Rebirth Island map, with the perk showing the same symbol as the Specialist Bonus perk, which seems to be a clear hint towards its eventual return. The Specialist Bonus perk was an extremely powerful and rare perk that could only be obtained from looting before it was removed fromWarzone. Once equipped, it gave the user every perk in the game at once. This would allowWarzonefans to stack all of the game’s best perkstogether, creating a massive advantage over enemies. It seems likely that once it’s re-added, the Specialist Bonus perk will be quite rare like it was during its last appearance inWarzone. Raven did not offer a timeline for when this perk would be added to the game, but an early 2024 re-introduction could be possible.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf Waris rumored to take placein the early 90s during the Gulf War conflict, with its single-player mode focusing on the CIA’s involvement in the theater.
