Call of Duty: Vanguard’s beta featured its fair share of issues, from broken spawns toAttack Dogsthat turned on the player who called them in. Audio mixing was rough, with footsteps unable to be heard over the loud game volume, and visibility was a major problem. While there are still somespawn issues inCall of Duty: Vanguard, players have drawn attention to all the improvements made to audio, visuals, and the core gameplay. Redditor Theironcreed pointed these strengths out in a Reddit post, with the post in question callingCall of Duty: Vanguard“one of the most improved games from a beta” and “one of the smoothest COD launches.” Given how buggyCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwas on release, this is a great sign for multiplayer fans.
With over 1,400 upvotes, manyCall of Dutyplayersclearly agree with the idea that the game is in a much better state than it was when they first played it. Commenter jayhart_ says that they are “blown away” by the improvements, saying that it feels like a “whole different game” and that the beta seems like a mistake. Clearly, the community is very satisfied with the PvP content.
IfCall of Duty: Vanguard’s camo issuesare fixed quickly, and more traditional Zombies content is added, fans could have very little to complain about when it comes to Sledgehammer’s latest game. With the past year being a rough one for many fans of the franchise, seeing all this positivity is a nice change.
