Following months of rumors, speculation, and leaks, Activision finally pulled the curtain back onCall of Duty: Vanguard, the next game in the long-running first-person shooter franchise. More information on the game has been trickling out since Activision dropped theCall of Duty: Vanguardreveal trailer, including what its file sizes will be on current- and next-gen consoles. And while there’s been some alarm aboutCall of Duty: Vanguard’s file size, it won’t bequiteas massive as some people think.

Call of Duty: Vanguardis now listed on the Microsoft Store for pre-order, which confirms the game’s file sizes on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. SinceCall of Duty: Vanguardis a cross-gen game, it will have a cross-gen bundle for $69.99 that gets players both versions. TheCall of Duty: Vanguardcross-gen bundle has a file size listed at a jaw-dropping 270.05 GB, but it seems that is counting literally everything in the bundle, meaning both the Xbox One version ofCall of Duty: Vanguardas well as the Xbox Series X version ofCall of Duty: Vanguard.

In reality, theCall of Duty: Vanguardfile sizes on Xbox One and Xbox Series X are much smaller than that, though still fairly big compared to most video games on the market. On Xbox One, fans can expect theCall of Duty: Vanguardfile size to be about 75 GB.
