Call of Duty: Vanguardhas had its fair share of bugs in the months since launch, but the latest may be the most shocking of all. For whatever reason,Call of Duty: VanguardAttack Dogs are ignoring the laws of gravity and taking to the sky once killed.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time thatCall of Duty: Vanguard’s dogs have bugged out. In the game’s beta, a clip saw an Attack Dog turn on its owner, killing the player that called it in rather than hunting some enemies. As for the latestCall of Duty: Vanguardglitch, it is directly tied to Attack Dog corpses. Once players have dealt with the threat of a hostile pooch, the canine’s body has the chance to morph into something that does not resemble a dog at all.

One occurrence of thisCall of Duty: Vanguardbug was captured on video by Reddit User itzyxbo1. In the footage, an Attack Dog body is seen stretching into a messy ball of random textures. Aspects of the dog can be made out, such as its varying colors, with it seeming like the animal gained the powers of Mr. Fantastic once it died. What caused the bug to happen is unclear, but given that the dog bugged out onDas Haus, it would have been impossible not to see the bug when playing. It almost entirely covers the B flag, serving as a major distraction for the player that caught it on video.
However, the stretching, flying Attack Dogs can be just as attention-grabbing on other maps. AnotherCall of Duty: Vanguardclip, this time from Reddit user Zealousideal_Rough_7, shows the dogs stretching so much that they look like birds. Without the roof of Das Haus, the bugged corpses are free to fly into the sky, and the stretched Attack Dogs look massive as they writhe around above Shipment. Confused, the Redditor stops to watch the bug play out.
One positive about thisCall of Duty: Vanguardissueis that the glitchy Attack Dogs cannot hurt the player, seeing as they are already dead once they begin to contort and fly. However, it seems like they are causing an even worse problem. While the transformed Attack Dogs cannot kill any players who come into contact with them, they can seemingly crash games. As shown in a clip from Reddit user s0cl1, the dog bugging out while in one of the crates on Shipment caused their game to completely freeze.
While this bug might seem entertaining at first glance, it is clearlyruining theCall of Duty: Vanguardexperiencefor some players. As such, hopefully Sledgehammer Games can identify and solve the problem soon.
Call of Duty: Vanguardis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
