This week should be an exciting one for fans of theCall of Duty: Warzonebattle royale. While theCall of DutyJuly 14 update isn’t expected to feature any big changes for the game, this weekend will see thereturn of the Warzone Rumble limited-time mode.
Exact release details for the return of Warzone Rumble has yet to be revealed. However, it seems likely that the mode will be added either this coming Thursday or Friday. In any case, Warzone Rumble was somewhat divisive when it was first introduced, with many criticizing the mode for taking the place of Plunder. However, other fans were upset when Warzone Rumble was removed from the game. It seems the best solution would be to offer both Warzone Rumble andPlunderat the same time, and that seems to be what’s happening.

It was also confirmed by Activision that Plunder Trios is coming toCall of Duty: Warzonethis week, though it’s not clear if it will be available as part of the July 14 update or if it will be added this weekend. Whatever the case may be, Plunder Trios marks the return of a fan favorite game mode that fans have been wanting to see back in the game for quite some time.
The pure version of Plunder hasn’t been available inCall of Duty: Warzonefor weeks, with Activision instead only featuring the more fast-paced version of it,Blood Money. It’s unclear if Blood Money will be staying in the game this week or not, but fans can look forward to the standard Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads playlists being available alongside Warzone Rumble and Plunder Trios.
As far as the standardModern Warfaremultiplayer goes, that side of the game is also getting a playlist update. Dirty Old Houseboat, the playlist that features Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House, will no longer be available. Instead it’s being replaced by a new playlist that features only Shoot House and thenew Cheshire Park multiplayer map. This playlist will feature 8v8, so it should make Shoot House even more intense than it usually is.
