Boruto chapter 4 finally dropped officially earlier yesterday and it is safe to say that this chapter is exciting in more ways than one. Fans have been looking forward to this chapter of the story for around a month now and it is clear that it has surpassed all expectations, big and small.Borutochapter 3 set up great things after Boruto Uzumaki usedhis newly created Jutsu, Rasengan.

Shortly after Boruto revealed this incredible Jutsu, it became clear to the fans that he had now reached a completely new level in terms of power. It almost appeared that the series had no antagonist strong enough to challenge him left, however,Borutochapter 4 remedied that quite quickly as four new villains, the result of the Divine Tree, were finally revealed.
Boruto Uses The Flying Raijin
Fans got to see quite a lot of interesting information being revealed in Boruto chapter 4. However, one of the biggest things that caught their attention was their young protagonist learning a completely new Jutsu. Boruto is exceptionally powerful and that is something that the fans already know. He has grown quite a lot over the timeskip and fans already saw that when he fought against Code and defeated him with minimal effort. However, now, Boruto has surpassed the expectations of fans yet again and he has done so in quite some style, learning one of the most incredible Jutsu to have ever existed in the world of Naruto.
Boruto Uzumaki pulled off the Flying Raijin Jutsuin Boruto chapter 4 and that was certainly a delight for the fans to see. For those who don’t remember, this is the space-time ninjutsu that Minato Namikaze utilized as his signature technique. This is the jutsu that earned him the title of the Yellow Flash and it is certainly an incredible technique. Boruto utilized this to travel through space and time to the dimension where Code took himself. This is the very same dimension where the 10 Tails was kept and Boruto teleported to Code by leaving a mark on him. This mark was left in the form of his Konoha badge, which one of the toads put on Code.

Boruto went on to showcase this Jutsu later once more, however, it must be known that his skill with this technique is not as good as that of Minato. This is something Boruto openly acknowledged in chapter 4 and it just goes to show how much of a genius Minato was himself. However, it also does not take anything away from Boruto Uzumaki, who fans know is continually growing to become a fabulous Shinobi, despite being extremely young.
The Evolution Of The Ten Tails
The biggest surprise that fans got to see inBorutochapter 4 was regarding the 10 Tails itself. Fans know that Code had used his Claw Marks on the 10 Tails to shrink it down to more usable minions. He turned the beast into Grimes and using these powerful Grimes, he attacked all his enemies. Readers saw some of the Grimes in action recently when Konoha was attacked. Essentially, whoever these Grimes bite turn into Divine Tree clones. These Divine Tree clones are exceptionally powerful. Simply put, they are created by the 10 Tailsafter a Grime bites and sucks off the chakra of whoever is near them.
The first Divine Tree clone that fans saw inBorutochapter 4 was that of Bug. Fans know Bug to be a weak character who certainly did not pose any threat to Boruto or the ninja world. However, after he got turned into a tree by a Grime, he had a clone of himself produced and this clone is incredibly powerful, strong enough to push back even Boruto.

As soon as Boruto transported to the dimension where Code was present, the 10 Tails simply vanished. In its stead, the four new clones appeared and Bug was the very first of them. In terms of appearance, the new Divine Tree clones have two Rinnegan each. Furthermore, they possess incredible strength, given that they are powered by the chakra of the 10 Tails. To make things even more dangerous, they also have the ability to manipulate appendages, just like Kawaki does. Bug’s cloneattacked Boruto Uzumaki and did so in quite some style.
Boruto was pushed back quite easily and, at the same time, could have been seriously injured had he not performed the Flying Thunder God technique to protect himself.
Immediately after, fans also saw the other Divine Tree clones appear one after the other. It appears that the second Divine Tree Clone is that of a woman. Fans do not know exactly who this woman is but she sure looks a lot like Moegi. What makes this even more concrete is the fact that she also uses Earth Style Jutsu, just like Moegi herself. Even her hair looks like that of the Konoha Jonin, as well as her face. This leads one to the conclusion that Moegi was somehow defeated by one of the Grimes and bitten, being turned into a tree shortly after. As a result, a divine tree clone of her exists now. Given that Moegi is canonically known to be a user of Wood Release, this would give this clone of the 10 Tails the ability to use Wood Release as well and that would make her a very dangerous enemy.
Fans also got to see a clone of Isshiki himself. The clone explained that life itself, both new and old, exists on the planet for the sake of the Divine Tree to drain chakra from. As such, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to any fan that Isshiki has had a clone created by the Divine Tree as well.
Finally, the last and the most interesting clone that fans got to see being created was that of Sasuke Uchiha. This clone of Sasuke looked just like him and possessed two Rinnegan as well. Furthermore, both his arms appeared to be fine and he could also turn one of his arms into any weapon that he wanted. This clone of Sasuke attacked Boruto Uzumaki with his sword after using the Claw Mark Shinjutsu it got from Code.
Boruto Uzumaki dodged this attack and the Chidori that Sasuke’s clone utilized was met with a powerful Rasengan. Boruto could very well have died right there had he not used his Flying Thunder God Jutsu once again to teleport himself to a different place.
Sasuke Turns Into A Tree
The end of theBorutochapter delivered a very shocking reveal to the fans as Boruto Uzumaki lay in front of a tree, all defeated. Kashin Koji made his appearance for the first time after the timeskip. It was made clear that Koji and Boruto have been working together to save the world from doom. How and why the two met remains to be seen. However, what fans found out towards the end of the chapter wasthat Sasuke was turned into a treeas well. This came as a big shock to the fans, and it is now clear that Sasuke has been effectively cut out of the story. Boruto Uzumaki and his allies will have to work this one without the help of any of the legendary ninjas of the world.
Boruto is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and theManga Plusapp. The release date for the next chapter of Boruto, Boruto Part 2 chapter 5, is set to be July 24, 2025.
