Dark Magic is one of the rarest types of magic, and Yami is the strongest one of all three users of Dark Magic with the other two being Rhya and Yami Ichika. Dark Magic is generated as a result of Yami manipulating the powerful and dangerous element of darkness at will. Yami’s usage of Dark Magic is itself a unique sight to behold as he primarily uses it by channeling it through his katana. Not only is the Dark Magic extremely powerful it also possesses the ability to draw inother types or forms of magicabsorbing them into darkness. With years of training with Dark Magic, Yami has developed a move set with a wide gamut of moves that he can use in a fight. The basic moves in his arsenal include moves like Dark Cloaked Avidya Slash (he swings his katana and channels Dark Magic sending a slash towards his enemies), Black Hole (a move that helps him create a small black hole that can suck things and even his enemy’s spells into it). He was able to fatally slash his body multiple times even though Dante kept regenerating himself instantly. Mastering the Mana Zone surely provided Yami with more speed and defense which he was somewhat lacking earlier.
