Twitter user MauroNL3 discovered some Cloud Chamber Studios job listings that potentially reveal some details about what fans can expect fromBioShock 4. The job listings repeatedly refer to “a new and fantastical world,” strongly implying that the upcomingBioShock 4will have a completely new setting instead of returning to Rapture or Columbia. This may disappoint some fans of the franchise, but others will be excited to have completely new areas to explore.

The job listings also reveal thatBioShock 4is likely going to use Unreal Engine 4, and that it is being developed for next-gen consoles. Barring any unforeseen exclusivity agreements, this means that fans can expectBioShock 4to release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with PS4 and Xbox One versions not very likely. This also means that thenewBioShockgamereveal is probably still quite a long time away.
