GOG is a digital distributor that focuses on releasing DRM free games old and new to the public. While purchasing games digitally can be a bit nerve-wracking sometimes, with the idea that the game could be taken away from the customer with a license agreement ending or the service shutting down.GOG, which often has sales, allows players to purchase DRM free games. The latest addition happens to be multipleBatmangames.
For theArkhamgames, all of the mainline entries are available now. 2009’sBatman: Arkham Asylum, 2011’sBatman: Arkham City,2013’sBatman: Arkham Origins, and 2015’sBatman: Arkham Knightare all available on GOG. With the exception ofBatman: Arkham Origins, each of these games was developed byRockStready, which is currently working onSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
That is not all of theBatmangames that are now on GOG, however.LEGO Batman: The Video GameandBatman: The Telltale Seriescan also be purchased through the digital distributor. The latter being intriguing as it was one of Telltale’s last games before itsperplexing closure and subsequent rebirth.
When it comes to high-qualityBatmangames, it is tough to find a better list than the one that GOG now has available for purchase. Between the great stories, the smooth stealth ad combat, the exploratory nature of the games, and the Easter eggs everywhere, theBatman: Arkhamgames alone are worth playing for anyone who hasn’t yet tried them. What’s even better is that these games will keep fans occupied for a long while, considering the fact that itdoesn’t look like a newBatman: Arkhamgame will be released any time soon. The closest thing to these games appears to be the recently announcedGotham Knights, an entry into theBatmanworld that looks to take elements from theArkhamgames, but isn’t a part of that universe.
