Baldur’s Gate 3comprises three acts, with the second taking place in the Shadow-cursed Lands and a ruined old city named Reithwin Town. The protagonist must confront Kethric Thorm, one of the avatars of the dead three, and work through his relatives first, who are a mix of haunted, undead, and cursed by the Shadows.
One ofthe most malicious and dangerousis Malus Thorm, and slaying him is also essential to breaking the Shadow-curse and recruiting Halsin. The protagonist can find him and his minions, the Sisters of Mercy, in the local hospital and medical school.
As it is with many of the boss fights inBG3, there are a variety of ways to win. If Tav plays the dialogue options in a certain way, they’ll have access to three unique weapons that can’t be found anywhere else in the game.
Where To Find The House Of Healing
Reithwin Town is in the western part of the Shadow-cursed Lands and is easily accessible via a few shabby bridges. Players who choose to join the Drider and his party from Moonrise Towers will go there directly, while thosewho side with the Harpershead to Last Light Inn first.
Confronting Malus Thorm
Each of the Thorms, except Ketheric, can be talked down to surrender or suicide rather than fight. The options Tav can use to do this depend on their skills and stats in certain areas. Rogues, Bards, and other classeswith a typically high Charismahave a better chance at succeeding in these rolls.
The Sisters' Unique Weapons
It’s not just the theme of these weaponsthat makes them fun, but the design and sometimes unique abilities provided. All three are of Uncommon currency and there’s a wide enough variety that can fit any race or class.
Trepan
The Trepan’s actual use in medicine is to bore holes in bone and cartilage. Only this weapon offers a special ability,Trepanation, other than the usual melee skills of Flourish and Piercing Strike.
