In celebration of the occasion, Ubisoft has added a hilarious April Fools' Day cosmetic toAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. The new addition provides an interesting new way for players to experience the Viking expansion into the British Isles inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.
With the game now over two years old, the amount ofpost-launch support and DLCAssassin’s Creed Valhallahas receivedhas been unusual for the franchise. Previously, the games had mostly been released on a one-year schedule, meaning that support was dropped as soon as the next release came out. Ubisoft has been taking its time with the next iteration ofAssassin’s Creed, so it makes sense that it would keep the old game alive as long as possible.

The addition to the game was noticed by Redditor Alert_Chart, who posted that they’d receive a Rabbid head as a cosmetic to use inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. The Rabbids are another key franchise for Ubisoft, so it’s fun to see them cross over, even as a joke. The update comes completely free to the game, so players won’t have to pay to get their hands on this either. It was presumed thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallahas had its final update, but it seems that Ubisoft isn’t done yet, even withAssassin’s Creed Mirageon the way later this year.

However, it’s unknown if it’s a limited-time cosmetic, so players wanting to use it in-game should grab it while it’s there. It remains to be seen if Ubisoft has anything else up its sleeve for April Fools' Day, but gamers don’t have long to wait now.
