Summary
A creative fan artist has recently redesigned eightPokemonusing the art style of the popularLilo and Stitchfranchise. ThePokemoncommunity loves to create amazing fan art, and this artist specializes in redesigning some of the most iconic creatures of the franchise asLilo and Stitchcharacters.
The firstLilo and Stitchmovie was originally released in 2002, and it became a huge critical darling, spawning three sequels in the following years, as well as a television series. In 2018,a live-actionLilo and Stitchmoviewas announced, but it still has no official release date after a few delays.

Now, a talented artist who lovesPokemoncalled Troytheartboy has shared eight pieces reimagining some monsters inLilo and Stitch’s visual style. In the gallery shared by the artist, it’s possible to see new versions of Mudkip, Magcargo, Makuhita, Torchic, Marshadow, Latias, Chimchar, and Treecko. All of these new versions closely followLilo and Stitch’s art style, which is a mixture of cute and weird due to how every Pokemon has a round face and Stitch’s wacky smile. Among these creations, Mudkip and Chimchar really stand out, as they could easily be aliens from the Disney franchise.
Pokemon Reimagined In Lilo and Stitch’s Style
This is not the first time that Troytheartboy sharedPokemon reimagined inLilo and Stitch’s stylewith the community. A few months ago, the artist shared seven other creatures, including Latias (which was featured again in this recent gallery), Latios, Pichu, Nidoran (male and female), Golduck, and Zorua. As usual, most creatures looked absolutely twisted and goofy.
In an earlier work, Troytheartboy also redesignedeight otherPokemonasLilo and Stitchcharacters: Sneasel (both with original and Hisui variant forms), Weavile, Heracross, Hypno, Mawile, Wigglytuff, and Poliwrath. While all of them looked great, Hypno was a highlight as one of the best designs the artist ever made, mixing the two styles very well.
OtherPokemonfans also like to mix ideas from Nintendo and Disney’s franchises. For instance, anotherartist turned four Pokemon dogs into Disney characterssome time ago. At the time, the artist drew an adult Furfrou with three puppies: Lillipup, Rockruff, and Yamper, all using a style that was reminiscent of Disney animal movies from the 70s and 80s such asThe AristocatsandOliver and Company. Fans can likely expect to keep seeing a lot of qualityPokemonfan art coming out soon, as fans are constantly trying out new ideas, including Paradox forms, fusions, new evolutions, and more.
