Respawn and EA’s live service battle royale game,Apex Legends, is highly successful and popular with players, despite there being many such games on the market to serve as competition. Season 13 is in its last few weeks andApex Legendsfans are anxious to see what is on the horizon for the game and what new updates, heroes, and other interesting changes could come to the game next.
Apex Legends’sseasonal model, like other similarly modeled games, enjoys great success as new and fresh content becomes available for players with each new season, as well as in smaller updates and limited time events like theGaiden event. Meanwhile, though, players continue to play the current season, working to increase their level and rank and develop their skills.

One such player seems to be having an easier time than others. Redditor udrac posted a clip of a strange glitch that occurred as they were playingLifeline, the go-to healing character inApex Legendsbecause of her D.O.C. drone as well as her ability to quickly revive fallen allies. The glitch occurred in the storm in which the player, instead of taking damage, is repeatedly healing, even though they are nowhere near the drone.
The clip shows the player running through the storm with just half of their health remaining, and thendonning a heat shieldand deploying the healing drone. After healing while looting a deathbox, the player leaves the heat shield and runs back into the storm, but this time, it looks as if they are taking no damage. However, one look at the health bar shows that the player is, in fact, taking constant damage from the storm, but somehow, they are healing each time that the damage is inflicted, causing them to stay at full health.
Commenters and other players presume that the glitch is related to Lifeline’s drone and its healing somehow staying attached to Lifeline even though she isn’t near the drone’s healing radius.Glitches with Lifeline’s droneare actually quite common.
All games come with bugs and glitches, but competitive multiplayer games that have glitches are the most unfortunate because players are competing in ranked competitions and glitches in this type of arena can have more of a detrimental effect than in other games. Hopefully Respawn and EA work to fix the issue as soon as possible.
Apex Legendsis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
