Toy Day will see the debut of Jingle the reindeer, who tasksAnimal Crossingplayers with delivering presents to their villagers. It looks like there will be plenty of Christmas-themed decorations and furniture items added as well, so players can ensure their islands look appropriate for the occasion.

While the big holiday events are likely whatAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsfans are most interested in when it comes to the winter update, there’s some other things to look forward to. After downloading theAnimal Crossing: New Horizonswinter update on November 19, fans can use their extraNook Milesto purchase new hairstyles as well as a new hip reaction collection, giving them access to a new batch of emotes.

Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s winter update will also make some major quality of life changes. For instance, players will get their storage expanded to 1600 items to 2400 by talking toTom Nook. It’s unclear if the storage expansion upgrade will be free, or ifAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers will have to fork over more bells to get it. The other big quality of life improvement will allowAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers to transfer their save data, so if they get a new Switch or if the Switch Pro rumors are true, they can take theirAnimal Crossingvillage with them.

And finally, Nintendo also teased thenext big update forAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, which will be released at some point in late January, though details on exactly what it will entail are unavailable at the time of this writing.
